Training Coaches and Leaders

Graduates from SWB Coaching Course, Granada, Nicaragua, 2008A key aspect of our work is teach the best practices of coaching  to local youth leaders and educators with whom we work.  Many skills are required to coach effectively, including communication, leadership, and organization. Our coaching workshops focus on these skills, as well as arming coaches with a repetoire of games and activities that require a minimum amount of equipment and can engage many players at the same time. To date, more then 225 coaches in seven countries have completed our coaches' training program, with more then 80 completing an intensive 20 hour program.
