Become a Team Leader with SWB
Team Leader Position:
Total immersion. Authentic collaboration. Universal language. Just a few phrases that describe the Team Leader experience in Granada, Nicaragua and Kampala, Uganda. Team Leaders play a vital role in the the day-to-day operation of these SWB Core Programs, learning, teaching, and creating much-needed opportunities for young people to play and learn. The universal language of soccer provides the perfect platform to engage youth and the community, forging meaningful cross-cultural relationships and allowing for authentic collaboration with local staff and partners.
Team Leaders' responsibilities are a full-time commitment for one year. The positions are unpaid, but costs associated with travel and living can be met through fundraising efforts.
Granada, Nicaragua Team Leader- Team Leaders in Nicaragua work with young girls ages 7-16 in the city of Granada. Applications are currently open for Team Leader positions for the cycle: July 2013-June 2014.
Kampala, Uganda Team Leader- Team Leaders in Uganda work with boys and girls ages 5-20 in both the city of Kampala and the town of Ndejje. Applications are currently open for Team Leader positions for the cycle: July 2013-June 2014.
