Why should I donate to Soccer Without Borders?

Soccer Without Borders uses soccer as a vehicle for positive change, providing newcomer refugee, immigrant, and asylee youth with a toolkit to overcome obstacles to growth, inclusion, and personal success. Our team-based environment combines soccer play and instruction with educational support and community-building activities for a holistic approach to youth development.

SWB offers crucial services to young people ages 5-20 who hail from 75 different nations, including underserved girls and English language learners. At US-based sites, 95% of SWB’s English Language Learners graduate high school, compared to just 61% nationwide. At SWB nearly half of our participants identify as girls, while worldwide just 12% of soccer players are female.

Where does the money go when I donate to SWB?
