GLOBAL GOAL #5

SWB programs have reached more than 10,000 girls from 50+ countries. Our contributions to gender equity include designing gender inclusive programs, training female coaches, getting girls in the game, and developing pipelines for female leadership. In our core programs, 41% of participants are girls and 51% of our Head Coaches are female.

CULTURAL IMMERSION

To date, Soccer Without Borders has hosted more than 40 international exchanges with over 500 participants, and placed more than 50 fellows contributing more than 500 months of full-time service. These immersive cross-cultural experiences advance connection and understanding, and strengthen bonds between people of different backgrounds and life experiences, while also strengthening the capacity of host organizations.

TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE

Our innovative coaching framework, program design, and organizational structure have enabled us to work with peers to deliver direct programming, provide equipment donations, lead coaching seminars and strategic planning workshops worldwide.

GLOBAL EXCHANGES

Soccer Without Borders has worked with Embassies, the U.S. State Department's SportsUnited Division, and streetfootballworld to host and participate in global exchanges in Costa Rica, Colombia, France, Israel, Japan, Kenya, Nepal, Nicaragua, Pakistan, South Africa, St. Lucia, Tanzania, Uganda, and the USA.

GLOBAL LEADERSHIP

From serving on the board of the streetfootballworld network to speaking engagements to collaborating with peers to elevate sport as an effective tool for social change, SWB is both a leader and learner in the global sport-based youth development sector.
