SWB Baltimore was recently featured in an article in the National Journal, highlighting the role our program plays in helping newcomer youth adjust to life in the United States. With a 65% increase in refugee resettlement in Maryland over the last 10 years - the majority being in Baltimore - the need for programs specializing in tutoring, learning english, and building confidence in refugee youth is high.
