Cambridge, MA - Last month, girls at Soccer Without Borders programs had the opportunity to sport some new gear on the field thanks to ASIYA®. ASIYA, a modest activewear company, donated sport hijabs to participants across SWB programs and they loved the product!
SWB participants enjoyed and reflected upon how the sport hijabs felt while playing:

ASIYA® is a sport and activewear brand striving to level the playing field for Muslim females everywhere. Their mission is to help enable more Muslim girls and women to be physically active and participate in sports, while upholding their religious and cultural beliefs. ASIYA was founded by Fatimah Hussein, a refugee from Somalia, who has focused her work on helping to promote physical activity and the eliminate barriers of access for young Muslim girls to participate in sport.
