Capelli Sport Teams Up With Soccer Without Borders

Cambridge, MA— Soccer Without Borders is pleased to announce Capelli Sport, an innovative sportswear and team wear brand, as the “Official Uniform Provider” for all Soccer Without Borders USA teams.

There is little that compares to the feeling of putting on a jersey you are proud of alongside teammates you care about with a logo you believe in. This Fall, Soccer Without Borders teams across the United States will take the field in their new SWB-branded Capelli Sport uniform kits for the first time thanks to a new partnership with the global brand.

“We are thrilled to team up with Capelli Sport as our first-ever official uniform provider to strengthen the identity and cohesion of our teams across the United States, said Mary Connor, Co-Founder and Executive Director of Soccer Without Borders. “When it comes to using soccer as a vehicle for positive change, game play is an essential part of our strategy. With this support from Capelli Sport, we are able to not only provide this opportunity to our 60 U.S. teams, but also spread awareness about our mission in leagues, tournaments, and game days across the country.”

Capelli Sport was founded in 2011 by President George Altirs, with the mission to provide quality, functionality and design for high-level performance on the field. The brand’s innovative, world-class training gear, equipment and uniforms have yielded many global recreational, youth, club, collegiate, semi-professional and professional sports partnerships and is distributed in more than 25 countries worldwide.

Capelli Sport is looking forward to partnering alongside an organization with a mission to help youth soccer players around the world. “We are excited to partner with an impactful soccer program that promotes such positive change for kids within in the sport and culturally,” said Capelli Sport President George Altirs.The partnership will include the donation of uniforms from Capelli Sport to Soccer Without Borders, plus additional support to their programs. Soccer Without Borders serves refugee and immigrant youth from more than 65 countries of origin through its free, year-round youth development programs. A 501(c)(3) charitable organization, Soccer Without Borders engages partners and donors to fill crucial gaps in out-of-school time programming for youth who are too often excluded from extracurricular activities. Through soccer, education, and community-building activities, participants advance academically, acquire English language skills, develop personally, gain social capital, lead healthy lifestyles.
