Coach Rafa Barrios Brings SWB to the Spotlight on Fox Deportes

We are thrilled to share a special moment for Soccer Without Borders (SWB): this April, coach Rafael Barrios, from our SWB Bay Area hub, appeared on Fox Deportes’ national television show Total Sports 360 to talk about our mission and the power of soccer to create belonging, opportunity, and personal growth for underserved youth.

Rafa’s appearance was part of Fox Deportes’ incredible support for SWB at Fiesta Broadway—one of the largest Latino cultural festivals in the United States. During the event, Fox Deportes ambassadors helped spread awareness about SWB’s work, handed out co-branded soccer balls to festival attendees, and connected families to our mission of using soccer as a vehicle for positive change. We are deeply grateful to Fox Deportes for amplifying our story and creating new opportunities to reach communities in the heart of Los Angeles and beyond.
